Here we had another poor listing of a VERY rare piece.
This piece is so rare it almost doesn't exist!
It is the battery unit (EBP-78) for the Sony FH-7.
This component allows the Sony FH-7 to run on 12 D cells.
Thats right, 12 of them!
Anyhow, the listing was in the UK with shipping to the UK only.
Member Royal assisted(Thanks Royal!!)in bidding on my behalf and
I chose to set the max bid at $35 USD. Everything was good up until
the end when we got sniped by some other lucky/determined bidder.
I thought $35 would be plenty since the EBP-78 was not mentioned
in the auction but could only be seen from the auction pics.
Evidently, I didn't set it high enough.
If this item ever pops up again on Ebay I'm pulling out the elephant gun!
The ULTRA rare Sony EBP-78BTW, if you are the winning bidder LETS SEE SOME CLOSE UP PICTURES!!

Why not? It meets all the requirements.
1. Runs on batteries
2. Has Tuner/Tape Deck
3. This model normally has speakers with it.
i come across these all the time. they are pretty nice. i do like them very much. i always seem to be broken in some horrible way. i mean i can put up with quite a few things but i always find these with broken cases or bits.
the do sound very good tho.
