Out of 80 to 85 buys/wins that I have had from the german bay, it has finally happend that I have (eventually) lost money and/or the product...

I am one of the rare who has had no Bboxes broken in the sippments... that has had all the Bboxes sent within the expected time... In other words, all has gone perfectly well up to now (even the shippments from the UK, The US, Canad, France and Hong Kong)!

There was that one time were a Bbox bought from Peppin took a little more than three months. Knowing that is was comeing from Peppin (from Hong Kong), I expected it to take a long time, but sill felt a little at loss with the time it took... I kniew it was going to make it to me, but for comfort I posted a few topics about this here on ST2G just to get comfort from you guys/members (and I would like to thank you, for y'all did comfort me and in the long run got the RX 7200 from Peppin)!

Well, what had to happen happened... A first time seller (and I had bought from first time sellers with no worries before) put a Rizing 2005 up for bidding, I won it at a low price of 65 euros!

It was a pain in the arse to get the bank info from this guy, "douk-one2009". At one time he wanted me to send the money via Westen Union... I told him that ebay did not recomend that type of payment method... so I finally got the bank details for a European bank Transfer... the bank details of his "Partner".

Once the money was send, a few weeks later, he Ebay-mailed me that he was still waiting for the money and that nothing had arrived... I wrote him a nice Mail with all attachments posible sowing that the money was on the "Fiends Account", and to ask the friend to give him the money... He got the money....

Well, here we are with no sign of him and no Bbox... He did send me a Ebay-mail a good three weeks ago saying that he had sent the parcil but that the parcil had come back to him because of a "Wrong Address"!!!!! RIGHT!!!!!!!!

So many wins via Ebay and all the parcils making it to my address with no problems... DUDE!!!!! BULL SHIiT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it is in Ebays hands now... All I can do is sit back and wait... Wait for what, do not know yet

they are still not here

And they come from the UK, that is usually 1 week
or so!

I feel your pain! It's happened to me more than once... last time over a toy car I won from a seller in Cleveland, Ohio (who had a 99% positive feedback rating and hundreds of positive feedbacks).

I should have known something bad would happen, since the seller didn't take Paypal, and I had to send him a money order. Three weeks later, I looked up the listing and saw that he was "no longer a registered member." I went through the dispute process, but nothing happened. I then submitted the case to eBay's Trust & Safety, and that was the last I heard about it. I can't even leave feedback, because the seller is no longer registered.


Here's what I learned:

Unless you pay with Paypal, eBay (at least U.S. eBay) will do nothing for you. I suppose a buyer can contact law enforcement, but when the seller is far away, that's impractical and an additional expense.

If I decide to buy without Paypal, I should pretend I'm in a casino and never spend more money than I can afford to lose.

A few years ago I won a couple pi*****o machines and promply paid by Paypal. They never showed up and I was getting mad. I found the seller's personal info and called him to inquire about the machines. He had some excuse about being hurt and not able to move around much and also moving out of his house...etc....I told him I was driving half-way across the U.S. to kick his ass if he didn't get them out...nothing.....One day over a year later a large package shows up, no note or explination...just two pi*****o's...

Thanks guys for your in-put and sympathy!!!!! I am sure, though, that there is worse than us out there!
