Just wanted an opinion from fellow members regarding a Fisher PH-480 for sale I came across this weekend in a second hand store. The guy is asking $250 CAD?

Cosmetically the unit is in mint condition. The tape deck needs some work.
One of the lines is cutting in and out.

Is this unit worth it?

definitely an awesome box. always try to get it for less but worth it for sure.

I got my first PH 480 3 month ago. It was cheaper but its not mint.
To me... YES, this unit is worth it!!! Otherwise you have the option to ask for a cheaper price.

Never heard a 480's sound (w/o) EQ. I heard the sound is great. def. a quality box.

Defeanetly a bass boombox has plenty of it for sure.

480 has bass and treble sliders only. How do I know...



She's a thumper for sure.

They sound ok.

Found my 3rd PH480 yesterday for only 10€ but one speakerbox is missing... so it's a 2pc mono box

In my ears sound quality is for its size disappointing...
