anybody know the difference in the LOOKS of the gf767 and the japanese gf1000 --

they both seem to have that cool blue tuning dial and the same blue speaker grills ?? right ?

yes rbj i owned the 767 and sold it...great unit..its the first of the 777 line and the 1000 which i have and selling is the the last and top end... they both share many things together in common but both are unique as well beside the blue grills and tuner section they share...the 767 has tinted door lids that no other from 777 family has...now the 1000 has unique lids its self as well...it also has no midrange filters with chrome caps on all four..unique cream white speakers...pitch control tape control...large VU meters...electronic echo..another upgrade from 777...11 search song mode while the 777 only has 7...and other goodies as well...

That statement is kind of like it is not cheating if the person is outside of two zip codes from you.

I have ever owned either , but personally I think the 767 looks cheap. That's just me though!

and lit. personally there is no comparo the 1000 is king of all sharp boxes shame about 99 percent of the rest though.
