There was a Hitachi trk 8080 described as working in good cond with a bin of $59.00.
I would have snapped this up as I've always wanted one of these but someone Instead bid $10.00 & now this box will go considerably higher.
I suppose I should take this philosophicaly but It bugs me that If not me someone here could have gotten a sweet deal.
At this moment the bidding is already at $56.00
& with more than 3 days left this box will go for a far higher price :-(
sometimes you just have to hit that bin button
Yup,that does suck for sure.
You just need to hit the B.I.N. button next time I guess.....
By the time I found It the option of bin was gone because rather than snap it up at that good bin price someone had already bid $10.00
& now It will go for considerably more which was my original point.
dont sweat it man. almost every boombox i own (and i do have some really nice ones) was under fifty bucks.
things will find you if you are patient enough. i mean i even got a pioneer robo disco for next to nothing. that boombox is far from cherry but i still got one.
i am sure you will find one at some point for less than you might think.
i mean my sk-95 fell into my hands for ten bucks totally out of the blue.
there is still lots of great boomboxes that go for a song. be patient things will find you.
i never buy anything from ebay.
i am not saying that theres anything wrong with buying from ebay. just try to keep your other avenues open for finding things.
