Hi everyone-I just got back from camping way up north in Ontario,Canada and way northern Minnesota.It was great,a little cool but I like it like that.

The big thing is that the day after I got back I received my JVC RCM70JW.
It needed some cleaning (a little) but now it's fantastic.
It's in excellent shape and it only has about 2 small scratches very small.
Everything works! The only thing is that there is a small screw for the cassette cover that's missing.If anyone knows where I can get one,let me know!
I love it,it sounds really,really good.
Not quite the 777 but very clean and powerful!
I love the dial light on this-it lights up the whole dial!
I'll catch-up on threads tomorrow-still sleepy.

I have cleaned it up throughly and it's almost mint!
It works beautifully and it's just fantastic.
It's a very nice and clear and is really nice at low volumes to.

I'm curious as to what years they made this box?
I'm guessing that it was from 1980' to 1982'.Could anyone let me know on this?
I also want to know what does the M90 have tha this doesn't have.How much more powerful is the M90?
Also what years di they make the M90? was it the same years?
I'd like some info on this as I want a M90!!

I can tell you that M90 has better highs, much better bass, and is louder compared to M70.
Not sure what year they were made though - maybe someone else knows

m70 is still one that eludes me. i have gotten oh so close only to see it being carried out of the store by one of my adversaries in the thrift store scrounge wars here.
oh so close,but yet so far. too bad i am such a cheap bastard. i mean i try to never pay more than twenty bucks for anything i get.

Congrat's Ghetto!!! that's a amazing boombox you picked up. And it really is built like a tank. The M90 came out about 2 years after the m70 from what I remember as kid.
