I've been looking through the database and notice how good the JVC PC-200 looks particularly in silver.It's a 3 piece with cassette and equalizer.Can someone comment on its sound?The woofers look kind of small to me.

I have the Pc 2 JW which i believe is pretty similar,sound is da Bomb,that's No 2 Jvc only Behind the 838.
The Pc 2 Jw has a super sensitive and crisp tuner on all bands incl,Fm and sw. Very good box.

Hi Jovie,like Jared I did not have a PC200.But I did have a PC150 that I got from ErnieJade.It is very similar to the PC 200 except for the PC150 does not have auto reverse.I remeber the PC150 had good sound and was loud.A little bass shy(imho).Don't let the woofer size fool you,It should rock.

Hmmmmm, maybe I have a bad PC-200.

I find mine to be a particularly unpleasant device to listen to. It sounds fair with headphones, Tuner is better than tape, Aux better again ... but really not nice.

It is a shame as it aint a bad looking box, but if you like that kinda look, I really would pay the extra for a PC-5 or 55.

i too had a pc-200 . . it' ok , but kinda average , looks pretty cool , but sound was nothing to write home about , and it def does not have the quality of the 5 or 55

Whell, iv ownd a small Number of ghetto blasters but my pc-200 stands out not only because of its sound but because eaven when portable still holds good qualaty unlike my others wich loose sound when unpluged.btw-got my at thrift store for 15$ not a damn scratch at all.

These aren't bad sounding units at all. They are the baby brothers of the mighty PC55.
