Hello
Behold my latest boombox, it is a tiny miniboombox
in stereo with tape!
I did wait 4 weeks for it to arive in the mail from
Germany
, must be because of the Christmas
or so.
I did put batteries in it as soon after I did unwrap
it and the radio does work perfect in mini stereo
The tape does work also with the little tape that
did come with the radio, on the tape is written
'Demonstration tape' but there is nothing on
there
Here are some pictures
Mini radio front:
Mini radio top:
As you see there is a super nice metal carry
strap to carry the boombox around
Mini radio in comarison to minitape:
Here you see the miniboomox with that cassette
lid open and the mini tape in front of it.
Here is picture from the back with the serial
number on the sticker, the serial number is
000203 so I believe it is a very early one?
Here is a picture from the demonstration tape:
And here is the mini stereo lamp
I am super happy now, also because I have 2 mini
boomboxes now, and I am thinking about collecting
these nice radios as I love mini radio's
* edit *
Oh yes, the sound is for such a tiny radio
really really good!, and loud
After dinner I will will clean it so it will
look even better.
very nice walkgirl !
Very nice indeed! It looks like a minature version of a normal slimline box. Well done Nicolle!

Nice Mini Walkgirl. The good thing about mini's, they have less chance of being damaged in shipping
What a wonderful micro-cassette boombox!
Sounds like it's in A-1 condition, both cosmetically and fucntionally, plus you have the original tape that came with it. And it's serial #203. Wow! You couldn't ask for a nicer (and more unique) bbx! Congratulations on an amazing find!
What do you know about the Heru brand? It's new to me.

Thank you jvcfloyd!
RetroAddict, yes, it does look like a normal
boombox!, that is why it is a bit difficult to
imagine how tiny this boombox actually is!.
PeterGriffin, this radio does almost fit into
the mailbox!!, but the seller did wrap it really
good in a box with foams!.
Babyboomer, I do not know anything about the Heru
brand, Maybe Jens does?
Rambo estrada, here is a picture from the connections
on the side of the radio:
Thanks Tim
, I think I did see a picture from
a very nice panasonic miniboombox somewhere!,
I think you will like that one really much!
Thanks Felix
Here are soime more pictures, one from the
volume knobs and one from the other knobs:
sweeeeet mini, congrats
Superyah!!! Great mini boombox Nicolle!!

Congrats Nicole,
That's very cool, I forgot that they ever made those until your post. I do remember seeing a few models on the store shelves and thinking how cool that is with the mini tape.

Like this one Sanyo MW 800
tinypic sanyo MW 800
Ver nice Mini nicole, it's full of features !!!
About demostration tape, I had a National Panasonic demostraation tape, were one side was for recroding (blank) and the other had a recorded material. Perhaps yours is for record ant test the recording quality ....
Very sweet Nicolle. Very well built too
Thank you Maffiagato
Superyay
Yes FuzzyDuck!, this radio is very well build!
and super heavy (for such a tiny radio)
Masterblaster64, I did not know they did exist
also untill I did see them here on the forum!!,
but now I did decide I want to collect these
fantastic miniradio's from now on
SUCCESS, the tape does say on one side 'Demonstration'
and on the other side "for recording', so I guess there must have been
some kind of music on there once, but the previous
owner did erase it I guess
Thank you Eddy
, you must get yourself some
miniboomboxes also!!!
Sweet little mini Nicolle!
Very well done, its super-cute!
Thank you Beatbox!
I even did find the webpage from the factory!!!,
so tomorrow I will send them an email if they have
a manual for me
, plus maybe a new minitape
with music on there

Thanks for the info Jens!
I will email them tomorrow, I hope they
have some info and stuff for my boombox!!
That's a clean machine,
walkgirl!
Wish it had a handle but the strap goes well with it.
I've been curious about microcassettes since the days of way back (at one point, I wanted to ditch my walkman for a microcassette recoder but then the minidisc came out)... How do they sound in comparison to regular cassettes?

Ahh, but they do have a good chance of bein' misplaced once they're in the home.
Thanks Monolithic!
Oh yes, it would be better when there would be a
handle on it in stead of that metal carry strap!,
when I carry it because of the weight it is a bit
anoying to carry it
Yes, I did misplace it all ready yesterday!
,
after having the boombox for 1 day
, I put
it somewhere and I could not find it anymore!!
It was on the book shelve in my bedroom behind
a videotape!
Looks like a huge walkman to me!
I like it!
Yes, I own walkmans that are more big as
this boombox!
