Hi guys.

I want to understand will I want them or not Smile
Please and thanks, Michael

There is a fisher version of the MR-P6. I haven`t seen either for sale. The M-X650, is a great sounding radio, one of my faves.

Don't know ther X965. Most Sanyo b-box numbers started with an "M". The MX960 is the BigBen...

MR-P6:

Top dustcaps Smile

MX-650:

There's an Aiwa version of this b-box.

...pics from the 'base Smile both look fairly heavyweight & I'd give them house room...

WOW!
Do you have MR-P6?
Also, why "Aiwa version"? It was an other version? Yes, this ver some looks like AIWA CS-J88 (sitting near with me Smile )

I don't have any of these.
The Aiwa version of the MX-650 is the CS-J77:

...different trim, but look at the switch layout. Those are 2 b-boxes with the same chassis.

btw, liking your MX-920 Smile

btw, if anyone has a CS-J50 they want to sell me:

Of course I like them all but that Fisher MR-P6 is really nice. I've never seen or heard of it until now. Was this model only in the Asian market or available worldwide?

I like the Sanyo 650 - I think even more so than 920!! Eek

That Sanyo looks quite a bit more like my Aiwa CS770AK mark 2 (IMHO)[URL=[URL=http://imageshack.us]

I have a fisher PH-470 thats the same as MR-P6
For me, the only BBX I've heard wich can be compared with the RCM70. Plenty of power and full of bass. Excelent highs.
The tape deck isn't quite complex, but has music scanner for 7 songs.
It also has clock & timer (the M70 don't) and the turner is digital and works quite well. It has memorys and ligth.
It has aux I/O, phono, mic mixing with separate control, automatic or manual level recording and TRUE METAL CAPABILITY.
All the electronics inside is from Sanyo.
It's a quite solid BBX and very well built. Think that cassette door frame is made from metal, near indestructible.
Also is the only one I've seen it has two power tranformers inside. It's quite heavy.
Digital clock/timer and memory from turner is kept with 2 AA baterries in a "secret" door

Nice box, indeed.

Thanks a lot, SUCCESS for this info

So, my conclusion is: I want SANYO MR-P6 / Fisher PH-470. If anybody has it for sell - please, let me know. Thanks, Michael

Sikorsky, to bad your not looking for a PH-460, that I have in excellent shape. I'm not sure I want to sell it, however I'm getting a JVC PC-55 so i'm closer to selling it right now than I have been.

I haven't really explored shipping from the US to Russia yet so maybe it's not worth the shipping anyway.
