From what I could find it's not really a boombox but rather an AC powered 3 piece shelf system.
There's one on ebay right now.

its looks beautiful -- probably sounds good -- but since it a plug-in only set -- i am not bidding on it
It sure looks nice, and has a handle too. Look at the picture below. The handle's folded round the back.
I'm guessing all it's missing is a battery compartment, which wouldn't be a problem for me because I don't put batteries in any of my boxes. If I ever take one of mine out, I have a cable in my pocket ready for use, and just stand the box on a table somewhere and look for a mains socket!
The handle's the most important thing to have IMO.
