Anyone care to take a shot at this?
For example: The SCR-6 is also a GE (insert model#), a Sound Design (insert model #), etc.
I've seen a BBX spun off to maybe 3 manufactures. Are there any with 4,5,6, or more?
Might be interesting to also note the original manufacturer of the BBX
Jens just gave
this example.
Many boxes are sold with different brands.
One that I found interesting was.is the TOYOTA Bbox....... That is the Sharp GF 777 but with the TOYOTA log (name0 in place of "Sharp"
TPR had told us that there was some kind of B-day thing or an promtional thing for TOYOTA to put their brand on a Sharp Bbox......
Interesting thread. The Panasonic RX-5500 was a heavily copied/rebranded model. I don't know what its AKA's are though.
Here is 10
most might be this:
Wow....
I just remember, this little "mini+slim" series was also sold under many different brands.
With different looking speakers..
ELIN, MUSIKLAND, SANYO,....
... and with the Siemens-label on (but Siemens just have Sanyo-labeled bboxes, as I know) ...
in 4 diffent colors - red, deep blue, silver and perl-white ...
... but I like the look of this small bbox - and the sound isn't that bad, for the size ... even every label had their own speaker-design ...
Best wishes
TOM
