How many of the Sony's have 8" woofers and which ones?

claret.badger - 2011-12-08 10:02

@Chris

the CFS 77 I have has 8" woofers

sounds good - but  a loudness circuit or proper tone controls would have made it excellent

chris69 - 2011-12-08 14:54

Thanks Claret! Is there only one with 8" woofers?

Good stuff hugo. I remember, knocking my 550 off a shelf, onto the floor (about a 4ft drop). It didn`t even touch it. Built like a tank.

driptip - 2012-01-13 15:14

yes Litfan these machines are amazing, when i pick'em up if feels like i am lifting a freaking rock, love it.

bison - 2012-01-13 15:36

that 550 definately has the look of a tpr 940,

wonder which was first.

got to say the sony looks better with the twin antennas

litfan - 2012-01-14 03:35

The 580, has 2 aerials, the 550, has 1.
