now then guys,picked one of these up over the weekend,along with a sanyo mw703f and a roberts rsr50-my point is its very similar to the c34/36 models but i cant see it in the panasonic cztalogues from 86 and 87 on wegavision-am i right in thinking its a foreign market model?or just one earlier than 86?ive had tonnes of panasonics though and a fair few of this type,including a c34,c36,two c39s and even a national c45-and i know the date of it is 86 to 87.anyone got one themselves and can shed any light on it?by the way it sounds great for its small size,and although the cabinet on mine is marked,the tape plays fine and as i say a nice sounding little unit.

im 41 son...yup my mom bought me therxc52 in 83...by then i had had about 10 boomers...i wish i could recollect all the boomboxes i have had...easily in the hundreds lad...my first 3 were the akai pj33 (have 3 now) jvc dc33l..(have one) and rxc52 (have 2) but i have always loved boomboxes...I remember when i was 7 in 77 (never even seen a boombox) and asking my mum for one lol...it's prolly my mums fault she loved music more than life....thanks for the age compliment tho lad..
