Ahhhhhhh..... No, No, No!!!!! The, "Do you need some knobs or sliders?" is actually a 'Signature'.... They do not seem to have made it ""Separated"" from a entry post, thus... I might have to go and put a Dotted Line to separate the posts and the signature!

Thats probbly the most prolific box i have had..easily over 15....there nice boxes and im glad you have mine bredgeo

Really? I've seen them around in storefronts before the most popular boxes came around, but I've never heard one before. 

The sound is good Retro highs are sweet and it's built like a tank and the bass is good...but it's not that warm fuzzy kind of bass you would get from say an m90 or 880...im not quite shure how to discribe it...The deck is a pita to work on though...and the box may actually look bigger than it is...those drivers are 5 inch and the inner ones are passive radiators but they don't suffer from foam rott... lastly it ways a ton if i remember correctly it's 11 kg

i just want to add to that lot.......hell i want one-i still regret not bagging your 909 tim last year.....i think i remember saying it wasnt bassy enough for me-well bass isnt everything ive realised so who knows,perhaps one will turn up for me one day i hope

It's got plenty of bass andy...just not my type of bass...Retro all i can say is the bass is something like your fisher, you're first one so i should imagine you will love it man most people do...Im daft tho...it took what 15 909's for me to realize it wasn't my cup of tea...I nead my head examined...still none the less a totally stunning box to look at totally...if you wan't to know the worst box I have EVER heard... that honour goes to the gf 555 and the m80 isn't far behind...but I did kinda like the m80..the 555 eneded up streight in my shed...the 525 is suposed to be much better than the 555...but I think i'll pass..

One last thing regarding the 909... the highs are easily as good as the jvc pc55--if not better I sold my last 909 because I just diddn't use it and im extatic that bredgeo REALY likes it because it's actually getting used now...nothing worse for a box than not to use it..

I'll take the 555 over the RX-5700 any day  My uncle had the  525, and it has zero bass.

WOW retro... I guess were both just to refined.... the problem with me man I LOVE boomboxes just as much as anybody else BUT to me I love music just the same...there both an art form in different ways that are linked togeather...so If a boombox "sound wize" isn't to my liking I just dont want to know...I have been in trouble over this so many times....some people just don't understand...but in turn I don't understand them....

BTW the deck is bust on my 555 that's why it ended up in my shed..

to me the 555 is unique looking, thats the reason i love that machine, tho the sound is bad compared to others the same size, i also love the 5700 for its looks but most of all for its built quality, that most panas have.

That's why i had the 555 hugo...i like the looks of it ...i dont actually go much on the 525 looks...but you know me of old hugo if i don't like how something sounds..it's game over..
