That's freaking awesome Blaster! Man I miss that station, but adding Stern kind of made up for the format change. My receiver was always locked on 92KTU,KISSFM, and WBLS 

Yeah i use to listen to bls and kiss fm as well....i actually went to visit KTU back in the day like around 1983 i got a chance to meet a few of the DJs..."the dynamic dual"...i had gotten autographs from them too...and had gotten publicity pics of all the djs there too which i still have today....i also won a beach towel from KTU i wish woulda saved it today....annnd once there was a album of the week choice, you had to write to them..i did and got chozen...they played my favorite album which was from the Jonzun Crew...and they played it and announced my name over the air...then i had gotten an autographed pic from Diane prior...those were the days....for sure!!

I agree, 105 was a breath of fresh air for freestyle at that time, the airwaves were mostly dominated by hip hop and R&B. 92KTU was my favorite back then
