hello gang, thought id,e share my latest find with y,all.

this morning i visited a carboot sale with my latest savings £10 lol

anyway i noticed what looked to be a box from a distance, first glance i thought a jvc pc55 or something similar.

anyway as i approached i realised it was a more modern box, dissapointed...oh yes

to cut a long story short the box was an LG model, which i knew was a good name brand.

i quiet liked the look of it cos it does have the all important 80,s look. i asked the guy how much and he replied £15, after a bit of hagglin i managed to make the purchase for £10 which i was very pleased with.

after getting home with the box and trying her out i was blown away by the loudness and sound quality.

through my experience id,e say that it dates to the late 90,s, not my era really but i just loved the look of the box, it had a promising look about it.

back to the testing, yes this baby really does please, input wattage is 40 watts, it has 2 way four speaker system, bass ports, lcd display, twin cassette decks, soft touch operation high speed dub e.t.c.

it houses a cd player on top too, it has a 3 step bass system, detatchable speakers which fit very tight, no rattlin around like some of the early boxes.

it,s silver and grey in colour and has nice real metal grills.

the woofers are quiet small but this baby really delivers quality sound and does,nt distort when cranked up.

it,s build quality is excellent and it sounds as good as most if not better than most 80,s boxes iv,e heard.

all in all im very happy with it as it looks 80,s and the quality is there, deffinetly a future collectable, sorry guys no pics but all in all i am quiet blown away by it, 10 out of 10 for this 1

well done az mate-sounds to me like a nice enough machine,one of the last before things totally went crappy with boxes after 2000,so thumbs up bro and well done

I'm also very curious to see what it looks like. 

sorry guys i can,t do pics at the mo model number is CD969S and it,s called mini sound master, i have,nt tried googling it yet but if i find any info i will surely put up.

Wow 7.5wpc must sound pretty good!

i think that's quiet low wattage TEAMSTRESS, but it really does thump

7,5watts per channel - That's alot for a portable radio.

For example: GF-9494 has only 4 watts p/c (with 10% THD)

... or RC-M70 -- 7watts p/c (with 10% THD).

Lav belive it or not the m90 has only 9.5 wpc jvc just spruced it up to look much better by claiming it had 20wpc...and in some cases jvc claimed the m90 was 30wpc...ever seen an m90 with a 60w sticker,,,i had one and it's no louder than the rest...

And take the telefunken studio 1m they claim it's 60w  it's no louder than the m90 lad...it may have slightly more bass but it's no louder....and the kaboom has most bass of all but i had a few friends round once they tried my brand new kabooms....and were amazed by them...then they tried my one and only party box the m90....They all said it oblitorated the kabooms....they were totally gobsmacked by my m90...as was i..lastly i think the 777 is 7wpc but i can't swear on that
