Big speakers small bass sound...

As it says on the tin .....What boxes have big speakers but a small sound
3 boxes that come to mind for me are...
Jvc 550 (big mono box) Sharp gf9000 (much better when speakers are changed) And the worst culprit is that BIG foldable 3 peace sony with 8 inch woofers....had 2 of them and the sound was diabolical....
Anyway im not sure if this will be a popular thread but anything goes here...

My visonik loudspeakers are small with rather big sound! 
much better as any studio or m90 boombox!!!

The m90 is crap anyway lol jk I have no money walkgirl....I won't have any spair for a good few months.....least I don't sell my grails when im skint....mind you I only have 5 left....I gave away one of my uniceff sz100 to a friend who had just split up with his girlfriend....I know im a fool I should stop giving stuff away like my m90...where did that get me...end of my rant....send me some money nicolle please

yep them sony's sound garbage,i had one myself,i liked the middle part with the nice deck and needle vu's,but the sound was awfull..i also agree on the sharp GF9000,lovely looks but poor sound and not alot of bass,some say the crown sounds crap but i dont think they are that bad,but they would sound alot better with a set of lasonic speakers in there..

Judging by the looks of the CRS-7800, you may be wondering how bad can 8" woofers sound in seperate enclosures? Well if you turn the box around, you can actually see the back of the woofers through the vents. It's practically an open-air design that produces very mediocre bass.

I remember skippy had one of those retro he thought it sounded ok untill he aquired something decent....royal had one to and he diddn't like it eather...
