I paid only 20.00 for it, it had a residue on the outside of the two lower cassette players but the CD and the am fm blow you away. I have been trying everything to see if they play i need a manual. He said he kept it in the gararge for years he lived in a very high class City in Michigan West Bloomfield. I cleaned the dust off.I just took some pictures i'll post one later. It comes with the remote as well has clock and many other functions, i couldnt find one like this on Ebay, i looked in a local internet site and picked it up. It well worth the drive , it has mega bass. You can hear it down a block, cripe now if i can just get the cassettes to work. I have some old cassette with Tom Jones my mom wants to hear when she drops by, if anyone has this same piece of equipment maybe you can pass on a suggestion sinc i didnt get a manual with it second hand i dont even know when it was made but gonna search more to find out, thanks all, you rock

Yeah, he got my dd9. A bit since now. Get em fixed lad. That one i sent to AO, was serviced by sony. Still prefer my wm-7 over the dd9. When that bloke from toshiba phoned me up. He asked if i downloaded music. When i told him, i still istened to tapes, he nearly choked.

Tapes rich I have about 2000 now...forget your mp3's i loved them at one point..but hdd's only last for about a year so i scrapped that....i must of had over 100 thousand albums all gone...but im not bothered...long live the cassette

Totally aggree - Which is one reason why I'll probally never be on there, after all, we are about the cassette boombox's & Walkmans and or anything casette related and just not into the small talk ...

Still got a bunch of Walkmans, will sell some more off this fall but there's 20 or so that are keepers.  Actually, I bought another one last month.  Still got all my boomers too, looking at them now up on the wall, I'll always keep the RC-550.  I still keep my eye out for them at carboots or Vide Grenier's as they're called round here.
