Went to a couple of carboots on sunday and it was bad  :thumbsdown:  absolutely nothing about (saturday scored one - more on that later)

but for now bargin of the day was some tapes - 30 of them for just £1   yup that's right three boxes of TDK D90's - one of them is still sealed and not torn open along the carboard tear line 

couldn't belive it when she said "well you can have them for £1"    not often you get a good bargin like that  :lol:

Bendy it's like getting them as a gift man....super score though,over this way i think some dollarrama stores still carry some cassettes but at a buck a piece,with tax of course   Congrat's on that!          PIONEER 

a pound!..nice find bc,stumbled across a few good tapes myself recently,from local charity shops,i usually come back from a car boot with a load of tat and an earbashing off the wife..

yer i seem to find some at the carboots and can't leave them alone - when i sell some of my unwanted boxes i will add some tapes free for recording

Car boot this week wasnt massively great for me either but I did manage a few goodies.

start up a carboot then - it could be your winning

find some where were people can get to easy, like a good field and post up posters in shops - big signs around the event - you could split 60/40 to the famer an his field and then you have a choice of bits to choose from to buy there - advertise there that you are looking for ghetto blasters or so

or have a couple of days down from you opn the map - find a B&B and go to a carboot for a couple of days - if you find the right aera you could hit up 4 a day and 8 in a couple of days - now how many boxes do you think you could find

you can't just sit on the internet /ebay - get some flyers made up and post them through the doors alround you and as far as you can travel - won't hurt and you could score big !

I know of Shetland but Ive only been as far as Edinburgh, surely theres a way to go to the mainland at the weekend and perhaps find a carboot there?

If not Bendycats idea is pretty good about starting one as there is most likely people on the Island who have stuff they want to shift.

Yeah bendycat this is a good idea, I never thought of hosting my own to feed the addiction! 

The girlfriend studies in glasgow so im down there quite a bit.  My plan was to find some things going on around the glasgow area, carboots, etc when im next down.
