just got one guys for free-any info on this box?????are the vu's affected by the volume etc etc?i know this box is a cheapo and is not upto my usual bass standards,but its a cool shape and i love her!any info would be appreciated

i used to have one of these prolines,cant remember where i got it,and cant remember where it went or who had it off me..but my honest opinion,they sound quite poo,not much bass,and the controls (on mine) were all cheap and stiff,the volume was the worst..they look ok though,they are smaller than they look in the pics..no where near as big as something like a 777..would have loved to try better free edge bass in it and see how it sounded..

thanks for the replies you guys-mainly against this machine i guess,but hey-i like it!i fully appreciate its cheap build quality,and its mediocre sound.....but somehow it has a charm all of its own,but ive never had one of the plasticky crowns/lasonics yet so ive nothing really to compare it to.....a mate of mine has a dynasty discolite id like to get my paws on,but i doubt id have the bread or the trades to win that one

oh,and dby the way the led vu's on this kick in when i crank the volume up,so it must be a power meter
