Getting kinda pricey !  Saw a Sanyo sell for $1700., but they keep getting bigger money.

Whats the highest known paid price for a BBX ?

I remember seeing an M90 sell for the equivalent of around £2000 (GBP) which must've been around $3000 (USD). It might even have been Jen Devner's.

i'm kinda ok now,i have more or less all the boxes i want, plus i feel like i'm getting to that age that i'm slowing down the collecting now,i have'nt got that "need a new box" feeling anymore,i dont get the withdrawl symptoms..

i would'nt mind an elta just because i have hurd so much about them, and a couple of boxes still excite me but hey are too expensive because they are only sold in japan..but other than that i'm ok..

I seem to know what you mean - i haven't been round the carboots of late due to only on car ~ the wifes ~ so i have to drop her off to work and then go on to the carboots, so i get there late and all if any good boxes have gone

i need to sort out all the boxes i have as there are loads - will let my teccy guy go over most of them and then to ebay for some - some will be for offer on here

which then will leave me with so many that i like best - the one's i would like are now going for big prices as the bigger boxes are getting more popular with the comman person and not just the collectors ( see why this thread was started )

i guess in lucky that some of my big ones have come to me cheap or free !

What i find bendy is,if i leave any of my boxes standing for a while, they seem to develope problems, usually crackly switches and knobs, and in some cases the cassette decks start playing up,i think they need to be used regular to keep them going, maybe once a week could be enough..thats the problem with having that many boxes..

That`s it paul lad. You could buy a never opened blaster. You`ll guarantee, the belts will stii want changing.
