litfan - 2011-12-21 09:26
Not the old farmer giles?
litfan - 2011-12-21 09:33
Both these are fully working. The one in front, is the one i got the other day, and, sounds better than the other.
litfan - 2011-12-21 14:09
Can anyone guess, what the 2 cd players are, behind the 990`s?
davebush - 2011-12-21 14:13
litfan - 2011-12-21 14:17

ao - 2011-12-21 14:27
Outdated & outmoded. Fergusson or a Baird
litfan - 2011-12-21 14:30
Wrong. Outdated-yes. Sound as good as the best today-yes.
claret.badger - 2011-12-21 14:30

Best CD player today would be?
erm
Wasn't the last decent CD mech the Philips cdm pro9?
Which was designed in 1920 by Charles Dickens?
litfan - 2011-12-21 14:33
I have had 1 of these, up against a £1,000+ player. This one showed it up.
claret.badger - 2011-12-21 14:34
but isn't a 1000+ player now worth 8 shillings and a thermos of cold tea?
litfan - 2011-12-21 14:42
Let`s ask agentorange.
hard to see what that is behind those 2 plastic box's on the Red carpet in such a small picture-or my magnifying glass is on the fritz again
litfan - 2011-12-22 09:28
I`ll let you off (this time), for calling my 990`s plastic boxes . The 2 cd players are, philips cd204, and, sony cdp101. I agree, grossly outdated, but, still sound superb. I also have a philips cd304, which is built like a tank.
ghettoman - 2011-12-22 09:58
richard, those boxes are not very good,i will take them off your hands,i will releive you of the suffering so you dont have to keep looking at them
No seriously,a TPR990 in working condition is one of the rarest sights to see,99.9% of these i've ever seen have had broken decks,so you got 2 rare birds man !
litfan - 2011-12-22 10:04
