Congratulations Chris on the M90.

If the Multi Music Scanner light illuminates and you can change the seek sequence from 1 - 5 five, you're in luck ..the fuse resistors are OK. It's now probably a question of belts. I'm in the process of rebelting mine shortly. DocP here on the site is THE man when it comes to belts. Just give him a PM if you narrow it down to the belts.

If it's not any of the above listed ailments, post here what the symtoms are and we can try to work it out. Radio Raheem's a wealth of M90 knowledge...no doubt he'd have a solution

mrupscale1, you won't be dissappointed. When I found mine index.php?board_oid=193392314111653483&content_oid=258979670055329176 it to was in a bit of messy state but a little TLC and patience her beauty shone through.

Plug it in, listen to the sound even it's through the Line In....you'll be convinced to restore it. It's truly among the best sounding boxes ever made. I highly doubt you'll part with it after hearing it. Those that have parted with them, regret it greatly.

Now get back to watching for the courier !!...........

radio.raheem - 2012-02-16 19:02

Hi i agree wholeharteadly with brutus42....not only is the m90 one of the BEST radios of all time...it can be one of the easiest to repair....it only uses a square belt and one main flat belt...and i have repaired my fair shaere of them over the years....take this to the compaired to the conion c100f...the 2 top boxes...well the conion is a nightmare....and i wouldn't want to work on one again if ever...congrats on your fine score

chris69 - 2012-02-16 19:03

The working condition never bothers me a bit and if it's dirty,it can be cleaned but i checked it out good and that thing has alot of wear and that can't be cleaned. I hope it works out for you but at $560.00 plus shipping plus parts ect...  best of luck

Haha i love all other jvc's but compaired to the m90 there pantz lol mind you the m90 is hyped by so many people including me,,,,don't go expecting a 1 grand stack system....at the end of the day it's only a box...but a bloody good one in sound and build
