picked this up today,a couple of you may have seen it,

i threw a price at him and he ended early

it came with a folder of reciepts for servicing etc(like what you get with a used car) and even letters to aiwa uk,interesting stuff.

i will scan them all and post em up

hey bison lad,thats a cool radio,i have one myself,i asked that guy a few questions about that aiwa but he was a bit sketchy in his answers,like i asked him if the deck worked,he said it did but you have to fiddle with it to get it to work,just hope it does'nt need belts lad,they are a nightmare..

the decks dead bm,..it tries so i think its just belts,not that i will be attempting them.lol

it has reciepts for belt changes so i half expected it to work.

everything else is ok just needs a switch cover fitting and i can get that off my 600.

radio sounds ok on both channels.

gonna clean it up tommorow,it will look mint cleaned up theres not a scratch on it

same as mine lad,mines a minter,my deck works,it used to sound mint but just recently when i was playing it,the sound started making this crustly crackly noise from the left channel,sometimes it will play for 5 minutes and do it,and sometimes it can play for half an hour or and hour then it will do it,but i played it for ages the other night and it never did it at all,Strange ....not that bothered about it,got loads of other radios that i can play with..theres an aiwa 990 on ebay now with a broken deck for £150 buy it now..

nice buy bison.... i have a mint one of these but sadly the deck dont work,i opened it up and had a quick look and it looks a real bitch to do so iv left it for another day!
