my radio is set to 220 and i have 110

i purchased a radio Sharp GF 767 from china and is set to 220 .. would it be a problem if i plug it to a 110 ...or is there a way i can reset it

I think you can buy a step down power convertor. If you try using it at 110v you won't have enough juice and the tape deck will play slow because it's set for 220v. I've hit the voltage selectors before on some of my Clairtones and everything was lacking power.

either that or a propper sharp 767 777 999 japananese 110v tranny that slots into the rear of the 767 if you take the rear case off.....

It would me much easier for you if you won't take these advices of the local "experts", and just use voltage selector, at the back of your radio (left bottom corner)

 

Use flat screwdriver to set it to "110-120".
