Just wondering what you all think about boxes ? do you think they are high maintenance ? if i leave mine for a while, they seem to come up with silly faults,i find that i'm having to constantly twiddle and tweek, and fix them all the time..thats one of the reasons why i started thinking of getting rid of alot of mine..i no longer have the patience to keep them going..

Hey Beanie Man don't sell off your boxes man boomboxes are getting more and more popular as the world starts to chase 80's Electronics as new wave collectables

Can I buy one?
You should not sell yours because there are coming back, and you want to be hip!

It happens to me often whenever I remove a box from storage. Usually something gets chipped or broken off, or a belt snaps from extended use.

Just remember to remove the batteries before storage....
My biggest issue is strange hum now from my Prosonic. It comes from only the left speaker but, it surfaced after being stored for the winter....I think I've got a cap problem on this one..

Do what I do.......Cover each of them with a plastic bag from the dry cleaners
And then once a week or so, rotate each of the knobs to a different position.
Boomboxes won't be hip for much longer. In a few years, the college kids & hipsters will graduate to CD players, because a spinning CD is retro

i use bin liners pretty much the same idea but im planning on displaying my favourites when we move to a bigger place,
cds will rise like a pheonix from the flames like vinyl has im sure..
"look it uses a laser to play music... wow"

With that being said, nothing is cooler than a Sharp VZ spinning.
