Just found this chat room and hoping for some help. I have a Panasonic SG J500 and everything is,  working aok except the record player does not stay closed. It does have the pressure puhing it open and closed whatever is doing that. After turning it upside down th plastic piece which is the other side of the bar which you push to onen it up, seems to be connected to nothing. I'm trying to find out what keeps it latched closed. Anything to do with the plastic door which comes down. That is there and does flip down as it should also. It just won't stay closed. Help would be great.
