You can 't repair the cracks , but you can polish it out , at least you will bea ble to see the dial.

I love seeing pics of these 5500s where the owner folds the antenna across the top like other boxes, it's funny how they don't realise that it's meant to be pushed right down into the box so you can only see the tip.
