Hi, I'm new to this Boombox thing so I was hoping some of the more experienced people could suggest some good ones?

I'm a fan of the Sony stuff and since I'm planning on using this outside I want it to be a one-piece (using batteries).  An equalizer would be great too...

Not sure if something like that exists?

Open to other brands too, but I would prefer Sony.

CFS 88L looks cool as when folded up, no one knows what it is - then looks impressive when fully folded out  good sound

Just my opinion - the best Sony's one-pieces are:

But they are from "pre-equalizers" era, equalizers became common a bit later, they are more for three-pieces radios.
