i dont like digital tuners --buts thats just subjective
radio.raheem - 2012-06-06 15:28
rotel rpm10 jvc pcx200...specially the latter but then these are just based on pure ground shaking bass,,, and superb highs, aiwa 880 you know i loved that one redbenjoe
spoofington - 2012-06-06 18:17
I enjoy the sounds produced by the Biphonic process in my 828. I mostly listen with Expander set. I hear musical instruments and sounds that I don't hear in other Stereo systems, even with CDs or MP3 formats playing in other systems! Almost like hearing a different version of a song. This unit produces good mid bass and decent highs. Not a high powered, low bass powerhouse, but reproduces the 70s music with a good punch.

Comin' over from the other thread (LINK ERROR.4716572580361/page/2)
Ira, prior to the MW200, Sanyo had made many excellent examples, both big (MX920 - a worthy M90 chaser I know from personal experience & of course the BigBen) & small (sheer quality build in the likes of the M7900, M7790, the list goes on). Also, the Sanyo 9994 is actually on my wish list (classic looks, those big chrome dustcaps & swivelly tweeters... very nice).
I don't hate all Sanyos, it was just that MW200 that turned me of the brand going forward...
redbenjoe - 2012-06-07 05:24
i do know what you mean , iso ...
same with toshiba --they create the magnificent S90 --
and followed with some cheapos that seem abusive to their
good name-
perhaps -- ' thats business'
isolator42 - 2012-06-07 06:13
Indeed it is 'business'.
Especially if you consider the woeful egg-shaped rubbish that pretty much every manufacturer remaining has produced in the last 10-15 years.
mrupscale1 - 2012-06-07 10:37
Yes i love the sound of the sanyos. My m9998 and M9994k and my M9982F (Gold Speaker covers) great 80s units i must say.
mellymelsr - 2012-06-07 14:38
My poison times 3!!! I have loved the M70 since I was 13. My best friend had one and we took it everywhere as kids...the mall, the park, friday night football games...everywhere. It is easy to carry (with the strap), has excellent sound, great power, a great tuner, and a bullet proof cassette deck. The only bad thing I can say about the M70 is its slider design allows dirt to get trapped in the slider tracks causing wear and eventual malfunction of the sliders. Lucky for me I know someone who rebuilds them and all of my M70's (I have 5) work perfectly.
fresh.produce - 2012-06-08 10:02
For me it would be my jvc not the best sound but i love the look so much
traveler - 2012-11-01 13:43
Is the Sanyo M9982F a rare model?

I`ll post this again, as, nobody has yet. The rt-s931, is my favourite ever mid-size box. I can listen, to just about anything on it.

mrupscale1 - 2014-06-01 14:20

andyboombox - 2014-06-02 02:24

jamesrc550 - 2015-02-05 17:08
