Ive been popping in the local dump from time to time for a couple of years now and at last i actually found a box. It was in there little room where they put stuff for sale/recycle. So asked the guy if i could take it and hardly finished my sentence before he took it off me and told me i cant take electricals. I always knew it was pretty rare to see electricals in charity shops cos of health and safety but at the dump, its just someones rubbish. I told him i collect them and he was just like "sorry mate"

Now the box was only a nice looking little Crown, proberley something you'd get on ebay for £10/£20 and it may not of even worked but i was so chuffed to have actually found something at last.

What if had been something like an M90, he would have a fight on his hands.

Dump people are just morons....they could save on some recycling...and possibly make cash on the side....m90 gf1000 had been there i would have used my trusty basballbat had they said no

Thing is its all down to Saftey laws and people just plain not wanting other people to use their stuff after they binned it, in short to avoid being fined or sued they just wont let stuff go anymore, my hometowns dump (Stevenage) even has big signs stating that stuff cannot be sold or removed from the site once it is dumped, Ive seen so much stuff I could use go in those containers
