I for one quite like the boombox as is retro....high quality sound is the most important issue for me...and i quite like the mahogany look to her... the thing that puts me off as usual..there is no cassette deck..
reno - as usual the meths you been drinking makes you all boggle eyed
but yeh - no cassette deck = "this thing isn't the boombox you're looking for"
*Obi Wan voice*
I here you Nick..ohh meths was great 3 years ago...comfortably numb was the place to be....
Cassette is just my thing Reli......i have over 2 terabyte of music on hdd....don't even listen to it...to much to chose from it's just mind boggling ....2 3 tapes is all i need when out that's like 4 n half hours worth of sound...thats all you need my friend

Thodio has several inputs, and / or docks. Can very easily use a walkman type machine ( casette) through headphone jack with included cord.I find generic MP3 player much easier personally. Not that mp3 is the best sound quality you can get ( some are better then others as per my tests) BUT mp3 is still better and less hiss then tape.
Mine has a 1 of a kind custom mount ( top) for MP3 players to direct plug into.
Can get a sansa clip or fuse for like 20-30 bucks. These are by far the best bang for the buck as far as sound goes. MUCH better then anything made by apple I have tested.
Also lets you run Rockbox to tailor the sound or effects to you likes. If you dont know, your can adjust bass/trebble,5 band "simple" eq or FULL parametric eq.
BTW I battled that bose errr expensive boombox. the bose is crap.
