Hi all, today the weather is great here on the east coast, it's weekend so that means i have my 3  kids stay with me

anyway as the weather is good there's nothing better than hitting the beach with the kids and a box

i normally take my d8614 and hook my phone up through aux and bang out all my old school rave electro rap etc.

anyway as iv'e recently aqquired a minty daewoo, (see collections forum for pics) i thought id'e give her a first and only trip out to see what she's made of

don't worry she's sat safe back on her display shelf

anyway to cut a long story short the attention it got was unbelievable, i had people of all ages commenting how great it looked and sounded.

an old lady even complemented on it saying that's a proper ghetto blaster is'nt it love, i could'nt help but find it funny as

some younger lads were saying it was sick, a word i don't really hear everyday lol

then there was a guy about my age telling his missus to look at it and saying it was a proper piece of kit, more my language lol.

the d8614 never gets this kind of attention

anyway this guy was smitten and we got chatting and i told him about st2g and he seemed very keen on checking in on us

sorry i have no pics guys but bare in mind i had my box and 3 kids in toe, not to mention the buckets and spades etc.

just thought id'e share my great day with you all and maybe some more of you will follow in my footsteps and get them back out in the public eye

i was playing late 80's house, s'express, hithouse, stakker humanoid etc, a bit of early 90's rave, and some early 80's electro, i would'nt put that crap on if it was the only music on earth

just relaxing my self listening to rod stewart and the eagles

Reno the 9000 i got off you i think it went to a friend a couple of years back, wow does'nt time fly that sounded pretty sweet with the custom speakers too.

i believe they sound crap with originals in, still it is a looker, the vu's are among the nicest iv'e ever seen.

unfortunately like a lot of other boxes iv'e got rid of over the years, the 9000 happens to be another regret.
