It's just the shipping that kills you Ira. I've seen so many beautiful models, but getting it shipped to North America, requires selling one of your kidneys....

...and thene there's the potential damage that comes with a 6000 KM +/- journey

I know it can happen even being shipped locally but....

Shipping should be only 47 euros if the package is under 10kg

I inquired about that once from a package from Bremen, Germany, Reli and I was also given a different price (although it had larger dimensions) but was around 10 -12 kg's

The other thing I should have mentioned is the import duty here in Canada...it's a killer
