bang on !   happening far to often on ebay  a vz going for m90 money the winner feedback 3  stinks betting it will be back on ebay within a week .

must be the vinyl revival,

hip youngsters these days should realise that the vintage vinyl they have bought would sound a lot better on a decent turntable,

doubt i will ever get a decent vz,i have been after one but the prices shock me

ebay prices are out of control. £1500 for a 2500 is clearly inappropriate. every mathematician knows that bids should never exceed 10% of the model digit, v(i)z - case in point - £ 250

vinyl on modern equipment dont mix so it seems ,  i restored a vz3500 yes i know its not a box i love it

i would have one of those 3500s chris, i have space waiting for one.

the prices dont seem to rocket like the portable vzs

plays vinyl no problems sounds fine , halfway through sorting a 3000 as well still managed to get original pinch rollers  for them both from sharp to , the 3000 is bigger and heavier than the 3500 but the 3500 sounds better imo .

good to read that, deliverance. when i had to decide between a bargain 3000 and a bargain 3500 i tossed the coin and went for the latter (couldn't take both, unfortunately). the turntable needs repair work, but radio+cassette are absolutely wonderful. just love their sound

your right sam paid a tenner for the 3000 and sixty odd for the 3500 as it had the original speakers which are often missing .

actually mine is a frankenstein 3500 because its speakers belong to the 3000 - as i found out only afterwards. surely that's why it was a bargain? 

another thing i bought some sony 4 ohm 25 watt speakers sound improved no end .
