Never.......i just know a crap box rich always have...but i must admit im getting more fussy as time goes on.....the boxed dt 707 i had sounded as good as when new rich....there are 3 gudduns the rest are crap......you think the kaboom has bass lad.....thats an utter toy to what i have had in my day....try looking for a pair of technics sb1500 speakers lad....beutiful things but again toys to what i have had.....im prolly the only guy that thinks grado...rs1i were crap....never mind those utter shite koss porta pro

I don`t like a lot of bass. Believe it, or not. When people used to come round. I`d put some music on. They would alway`s say, turn the bass up. Some of em, went to adjust the bass. I`d say, touch that, and, it`s the last thing you`ll do. That`s barnsley talk lad.

less said the better....but i was no angel when i used to drink.....what used to piss me off (eg) yd get some guy buy an m90 and he would keep wining cuz the deck needed doing....i offered many time to walk him through it....id have done it for him....but the knob would keep buying shit boxes....instead of investing his coin on the m90 (2 flippin belts) i got into huge trouble on nobboxery for that.....and i hate ipods with a passion they sound utter shite....got into trouble with that......if people want to waiste there money on shite that's up2 them but it just winds me up.....meen look at the new ipod over 5 million sold in 24 hrs....utter rubbish.....if it was good quality id be there but there crap.....stuff like that just enoys me immensely

i'm down to one box now, my beloved d8614, my first box i got 7 year back, it was perfect when i got it but now needs a serious trip to A&E lol

the d8614 is a great unit with cristal clear sound  its only problem is tape deck. a bit fragile, as with all philips unfortunately

ye the sound is superb, never had a problem with the deck until recently, philips did'nt make the best built boxes but they got the sound bang on

yes it was right at the end of the meet, he got it for a good price too without giving figures of course.

he has been more than good to me so it's nice to do returns when possible.

i must admit it was one of the best boxes iv'e ever owned and probably the rarest
