Problem is lav. You`ll swap it, then, a short while after, you`ll think, i wished i wouldn`t have swapped it. Happens all the time.

mx920, 777, sk909L, trc 931, blockbuster, panny 5500, they all went to fellow members and good homes ect but i miss what i once had.

tbh i can't remember some of them as iv'e done tons of sales and swaps over the years.

i swapped the 5500 with Driptip for he's blockbuster which i then swapped with Retro addict for he's trk 8600 and so on and so on....

the mx920 which was a gift off andyboombox from Reno's went to Davebush for he's trc931, then the 931 went to Docs as a sale i think, are you lost yet lol cos i am

nevr had a Pioneer sk909L, or a panasonic rx-5500, the other's have been though my hands

the 909 and 5500 both sound amazing and are built like tanks, especially the 909

Clear your ears out lad lol free one in the shed if you want it collect only...great highs that can't be denied but the bass is hollow and crap...ie no warmth....you were offered one remember and diddn't like it lol

you are bang on about the bass, the 8614 defo has more, but like you say the highs are great.

i think it was a choice between one of your 909s or the mx920, only a mad man would of chose the 909 over the 920

Man i have 3k's worth of amp here....i can't be bothered to set it up.....had to strip the preamp down (faulty selector switch) wich is done...i just can't be bothered to set it up...whats wrong with me????...love looking at it tho....2 large ic's inside. impressive...but the pre amp is built like TOTAL shit....mind you it's only a pre amp...they could have put the whole thing on one chip if they had wanted
