Pretty poor reason for a post but I'm really pleased to get my M70 even closer to perfection thanks to a new tape deck door from Bredgeo

This is the old door which was broken in half clear across the middle.  It had been glued back together so is sound but ugly

The new door from Bredgeo was all intact but not mint.  The silver paint had flaked and been back painted but was not perfect.  Kinda looked like corroded chrome.

So I carefully masked the other bits and very gently sanded the silver off using very fine wet sandpaper...done the bottom bit on this pic revealing clear perspex

So now having cleaned it properly and resprayed the silver bits its looking mighty fine now!

Sorry its a pretty weak reason for a post but I think its such an important part of the boxes appearance I'm really pleased to get it spot on so I thought I'd bore you with it!

I believe it's one of the best reasons to post.

Ha ha, no chance matey, this one is going no where! Anyway you don't need another, you've got piles of grails, and I'm a bit short on them!!

Great job! I was listening to my M70 yesterday... and everytime I listen I find the sound even better. The mid range- including vocals- are so good on this box.

I agree with the others, it's a really nice job and has freshened the look up no end. Good result, good post
