was browsing in the arts craft shop the works today and out of the corner of my eye i spot a box on the cover of a note book lol.
i don't need a note book but thought id'e take a pic and share.
what do ya know it's the big bad ass m90 again, seems to be no getting away from it lol.
the box covers the front and back of the book so if you open it out it's a full m90.
gotta say i felt a bit of a tit taking a pic of a note book in a busy shop
anyway here's a pic for you guys

This nicely mirrors the values of 'actual' M90's!
A couple of weeks ago one went for a grand and on Sunday night one went for £325!
Should be £100 in the sales when all the greedy numpties get their credit card bills!

I think I'm going to order one if I can find it, thanks LAV.

It bothers me that prices spiral out of control when there are people out there that will pay insane amounts for anything collectable. Speculators jump on the bandwagon and for a time at least they are priced out of the reach of the people that really desire them and would use and enjoy them.
I join the ranks of those that would like to own certain machines but for now will have to wait until prices come down again to reasonable levels; which they will and there are already signs of this happening. I am by no means skint but have to draw the line at what something is worth to me, and not buy it at any cost. If the speculators have to let them go because their plans did not work out? Sure, they are numpties. All bubbles burst eventually.
In any case, I am writing from within a community of enthusiasts and surely those enthusiasts appreciate that there is little point in fuelling rising prices by getting into bidding wars with speculators? Don't they?

Good pic Lav. owned an m-90 last year wish i paid that price for it but parted way's with it and kept the 7980 which has alway's been my fave even as a kid. Just some box's will fetch big money no matter what..and for what ever reason.. that is our society today.found this on ebay M-90 FOR SALE http://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-jvc-rc-m90-boombox-ghettoblaster-/110988977939?pt=Vintage_Electronics_R2&hash=item19d7756713

It did get water in it, means not worth much. More likely has serious corrosion. At least the guy honest with saying, "im not sure if it is fixable".
