Show Us Your GF-9*9*s

Hey all
Ive got three boxes from the classic Sharp 9*9* series.
Out of my three i would say the 9595 is best sounding and definately the heaviest but imo the 9494 wins it on looks.
lav.loo - 2012-12-22 10:49
i don't have any of the above now but have owned all 3 and most if not all the gf series before.
gotta say i totally agree with you MJ on your opinion, i also love the look of the 9797 too.
can't beat a classic gf, good thread btw

Thanks guys. Ive never seen or heard the 9797 but i just goggled it and looks a bit differant to rest of the range, deck keys same as the 8989 and other elements remind me of Toshiba rts893 and also a bit Hitachi-ish. You can bet it sounds good
lav.loo - 2012-12-22 12:16
yes MJ the 9797 is a great sounding box, more like the 9595, same build quality aswell, like a tank.
it has the silver cones too which i prefer, i would defo recommend getting one to anybody

The 9*9* 's never really captured my imagination that much, yes they looked superb but woefully let down by sound & build quality, a bit like American cars of the 70's, all the looks but engines were a secondary consideration or as we say in the UK, 'all fart and no poo'.
That said, I own three.
9696

Just saying that when you " hover your mouse over the (picture thumbnails - above) it reads {Title: 30 description - what is that } then of course - yes Your Correct the Full sized Picture shows the number of the box.
