Hello everyone I have a question in regard in performance . I own several machines view my profile I am very curious as I just purchased a mint Kaboom the original ...RV-NB10B 52 Watts ....Kaboom RV -NB50 40 Watts ...RC M90 70 Watts..     I find the newer models sounds great consistent flow however the vintage models have that grunt sound .....actually seeing the speakers pump bounce ....

The best kaboom by far out of the lot is the dp200 it has independent bass and treble doesent sound dull on the treble like the ones you have and it doesn't have that dreadful acs....also has 2 bass controls cd pitch control the only thing i don't like are the drum pads and rythem machine....makes it look cheap....took me years to find out until my uncle redbenjoe told me.....i know im mad but i wouldn't trade my boxed one for another m90 no chance....although the m90 still has better treble than any box...but apart from that the dp200 trounces the m90 imho...also has led meter on the front.........happy new year to you

And the m90 is not 70 watts that is just power consumption...the true watts of the m90 is 9.5 watt rms pc....sorry to disappoint.....but the m90 is still one nice loud box

Dull ? dreadful acs ? I use the Kabooms with my iphone 3GS and ipod 160G classic  logged on to internet radio old school hip hop sounds great !  ... I am not at all disappointed I purchased my 90 new and realize it is 70 watts total powerful ......and know I have a gem of all gems .

you asked an opinion if you diddn't want to know which kaboom was best...why ask...i have had all the kabooms....not the modern ones though as there crap.and don't have cassette...the dp200 is the best kaboom that's what you wanted to know so i gave you the answer.....thanks for backing me boomer 70...any tech member will tell you the m90 is 9,5w pc total output per channel..rms.ask any tech member like stormin normin or retrodos....that is a FACT sorry to disappoint...regardless of power the m90 is a nice radio...i have had 10 of them over the years

Not about to start a online potential exchange of harsh comments seems the last word is obviously  the focus point . I asked a question for opinions , and appreciate the replies ....  no matter of opinions , to properly interpret   the tone of the response  I will leave it alone disappointment is the furthest thing from my mind .....this site offers a great source of information and refreshment of the past ...
