Aiwa TPR-950 except for not having 'dolby' as a feature, This Aiwa TPR-950 is "THE" Boombox (  that the rest of the World in boombox's at that time tried to achieve in Overall everything packed into a plastic housing

Simply put, if you ever find one of these Aiwa 950  , 'any version' get it, Dont hesitate  It's is the best sounding Feature packed boombox of it's time operating on operating on; 6 D batteries = 9 volts.

here is a picture - I just ...

Aiwa TPR-950H, ( Philips D8514 Best of the Philips Boombox's! ), Aiwa CS-880U, JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom, & Philips D8614

Interesting pic.  It's a version of the Aiwa Carryin' Compo but appears to have two amps

glen - 2013-01-02 07:16
