Ok, so what do u guys think of the new wave boom boxes starting with this one

Ooooowwwweeeee!! even the Snoop Double D 'ooooo endorses this modern Boom box

I personally think it looks very stylish, nice lines /curves, very modern looking, and simple looking, (not to many buttons/knobs) sounds good too.. all designed to suit ipod/iphone users i think, although i think for safety reasons there should have been a mesh (clip on/off) designed to cover the exposed speakers.
i would have liked to see a mesh for each of the speakers as opposed to a one mesh design to fit all @ the same time. Anyway, i'm eagerly waiting for replies.. so go for it....

never heard one so can't comment on sound? i gotta say though it looks horrible, totally lacks appeal to me.

the only upside to the tdk over a true 80s box is the speaker technology (material) will be much better. would i ever have one? not in a million years, and that carry handle......nuff said.

Glen...i have one...it's one of the best sounding, if not THE best sounding box's (and i have hundreds to compare)...the TDK sounds especially good at night on lower volume! You can't go wrong with it.

Glen really no comparison to most 80's boxes. This box sounds great and is loud with no distortion and looks great. All I can say is get one, I highly recommend it....

I like the sound of that baddbill im very tempted especially after all the positive reviews so far. So its just basically a Boombox with a Digital radio & line in/out functions. What is the RMS output & how much does it cost US/Europe prices. Btw the manufacturer TDK its not the same people who make Audio tapes is it?

I like the looks of it !

Its very nice. My opinion is that its not for the streets though

its only for indoors!

Very very beautiful, quite futuristic but expensive.

I think the exposed speakers is not a problem

as they are made from carbon fiber and not paper !!

Bout time somebody made a real boombox i say.....no cassette it seems pretty useless to me....thought about buying one but wouldn't pay more than £150....and somebody mentioned it has passive radiator somewhere...so it won't sound that good imho

I agree they wouldnt last two minutes in our house with 2 labradores and a five year old
