Hi to all you boombox brothers and sisters. I'd like to wish you all a Prosperous, Healthy and Happy New Year! Keep the old school music alive and keep those vintage boxes pumping. I always believe that everything comes full circle. Someday we will see this crazy boombox phenomenon come back stronger and maybe the kids will turn back to dancing in the streets instead of running around with guns and gangs. The boombox era was for all colors, race and religions. We had no differences when we danced on the street corner. I hope to live to see the day when someone is carrying a boombox down the street instead of a ipod. Because then the music can be heard and the kids will want to throw down on the dance floor instead of gangs. Maybe this will be the year of a comeback in ghetto blasters, who knows?
