I think the person ( who could very well be a FEMALE that posted the youtube video) has talent and was very creative to customize their BBX.   Of course members here are free to express any opinion they wish.   As a long standing member here I would like to point out that NICKFISH and Stereo Mad's use of the word "GAY" in the context they have is judgmental prejudice against a specific group of Human Beings.   As a parent who raised two sons now 21 and 28 to be tolerant , understanding and accept people I find this use of " BIT Gay or ITS GAY" insulting and out of place in this forum of educated Women and Men.   I am sure our female members who like Pink or Hello Kitty items would be unhappy about a male making a negative sexually oriented comment toward someone simply expressing their creative individuality artistically or by what they collect.

   Btw during my life I have known several gay men many who were more masculine than majority of straight men.   Yes there are feminine acting men and masculine acting women and what of it.  They are human beings and btw it IS the 21st Century gentleman.  I own a PINK Sony WM-20 Walkman thus it too is "a Bit Gay"?  Feminine maybe but so what.

  Find a better way of expressing your judgement be they negative or complimentary.   Considering the origin use of many boomboxes that got the name GHETTOBLASTER by a group of people using portable stereos I believe for someone to see a members boombox or video or anyone's and refer it to be a bit "BLACK" or "NEGRO" , "African American" or worse terms used decades ago is a use of a group of people to illustrate a insulting or negative expression that is unacceptable. 

If you don't like something simply say so using intelligent expressions of why.

Personally, and I think I speak for Stereo Mad as well, I am not only tolerant but would go so far as to say that I don't give a toss what anyone does behind closed doors and I have no interest in entering into a debate about sexual orientation; the difficulties these folk have faced or in fact the trials of every day life for gay people. I am amazed that you feel the need to educate me on these matters and would suggest the only person present that has any kind of issue with homosexuality must be you.

You and your friends would have to (if they have not already) accept that in popular culture heterosexuals and homosexuals are perfectly entitled to describe something that is rather effeminate as 'a bit gay' and I have heard people of both persuasions do just that. I have also heard gay people call each other fags and black people call each other niggers but thankfully most normal people know where to draw the line while the ethnic and sexual groups seem not to, and would rather get upset when others use these terms than actually stop doing it themselves.

So; if it brightens my day by making such a comment, and others agree with it, who are you to attempt to censor and admonish me for it? There are far bigger problems in the world to address and you should look for a platform that might help to change some attitudes among black people and gays that absolutely do them no good at all.

By the way; The word gay is more historically used to describe feelings of being carefree or happy, and this art work would seem to fit that description perfectly. So, please, get off your soap box.
