mellymelsr - 2013-05-06 16:27

Trying to run off some "D" batteries I have laying around, I have been using my blue Victor M70 for the last few weeks. This box is a miser on batteries as they are still going strong after weeks of play at volume 4-5 using the line input.

Thank you Bison. The M70 is my favorite boombox. Blue seemed like a natural match for the M70 considering its tuner accents and speakers are blue as well.

It's Chrysler Imperial Blue Pearl. I ordered it from the local Chrysler dealer. Thanks for the great comments.

isolator42 - 2013-05-10 05:16

I'll give the M90 a dust-off if they ever get around to releasing this:

anyone thinking of getting one,get one

isolator42 - 2013-05-19 16:57

Gave one of my JVC RVDP200s a right old hammering at my daughter's 13th birthday party, in the garden.

When kids have a party these days they all want to plug their mobile phones in to play their music, so it was dealing with God knows what quality of source material.

The JVC loved every minute of it. On this subject Reno is correct - it's one hell of a rugged & very loud boomer, with deeeeep bass.

Not sure the neighbours loved it quite so much, but it was only until 7pm...

radio.raheem - 2013-06-09 16:31

tdk 3 speaker boombox for rich bass and my panna fd80 with the surround on at the same time...is this allowed

stereo.mad - 2013-06-13 12:05

Iv been cranking a gf777 all week as I have grown to like them so much more since hitting the streets of Berlin last weekend with one......I kinda underestimated them before

blutmadchen - 2013-06-14 08:30

TDK 3 speaker for now. I'm about to grab my little red Sharp WQ 272 and head outside with it. Such a lovely day

blutmadchen - 2013-07-10 08:34

What's in the backpack? sorry about my dreads hanging there.

Peekaboo

Bam! I'm going for a nice long ride tonight with the 272 on my back, c'ya!!!

northerner - 2013-07-10 08:44

Cripes!!!...in that first photo I didn't at first realise your dreads were right in front of the camera clearly dangling off your head as you took the photo...for some reason I thought they were the same distance away as your bike and were massive!!...not quite sure why I thought that but it did scare me for a moment!

Back to reality...nice box and really nice bike too

olllie - 2013-07-21 08:10

My friend had a party in a field last night. I brought along my JVC M70

It got so many compliments and really made the party and got people moving! Played a good mixture of old and new music.

deliverance - 2013-07-21 10:14

olllie - 2013-07-21 13:25

radio.raheem - 2013-07-26 12:10

m90 on the radio lady gaga bad romance

radio.raheem - 2013-07-26 12:14

m90 radio born slippy...i can see what the fuss is about with these things

litfan - 2013-07-26 12:20

I`ve been playing the marantz superscope crs4503, that i got from blasterfan jens. Lovely boxes these. This, is my 5th one.

nickfish - 2013-07-26 12:28

I'm with you on that one, Rich. Massively under-rated box and staggering quality for it's size. I have some very expensive and supposedly impressive machines but the Marantz always puts a smile on my face.

UB40; I got you babe

Smiling again.

Good evnin son...which box is that... i was under the impression you bought your 950 from jens......looks like my m90 might be sorted soon lad....im not looking forward to rechroming the tweeter thingy though. im hoping i can get a pen or something like that lad

litfan - 2013-07-26 14:51

Nah. Don`t bother with the pens lad, i`ve tried em. It`s more like silver, than chrome. One of my m90 tweeter surrounds, is a bit rough. I`m playing the superscope now "90125" by yes. Lovely. I once sent an e-mail to superscope, asking about their boxes. I got a long reply, from a bloke, who had worked on the 4000 series. He said, marantz, designed it, but, gave supercope, the job of making it. He said, only the best quality components were used. Marantz, tried making their own 1-piece, but, could only manage that mini thingy.
