How does it sound ?

Is it worth buying or not?

I have one and it's a lovely thing for sure.

The sound is rich and warm but it gets all out of shape and distorts if you crank it up plus you have to turn the bass right up and then it shows it's weakness. I don't suppose it was designed to really thump or go very loud.

That said; I could look at it all day and it is beautifully made. Ask yourself if you are ever likely to stumble upon a spare door for it though......

By the way the one in the picture is a 7200. The 7000 has an analogue tuner and is none the worse for it.

Well i guess is not that easy to find a spare door

Is the wood for real or is it plastic fake wood?

Those i think were made for indoor use rather than the outdoors.

yeah defo home audio and not a street box, you can't call this a ghetto blaster as such but it looks real sweet no question

what a box! i am simply in love with these Pannys but so far I have been unable to find one. Let's consider the door without a door a gateless gate Zen koan and go for it! 

Anyone with a spare door for this machine

and want to sell i d be happily take it !
