Old time memeber (2006) back again.

Not sure if anyone remembers me (Dreem) but I haven't been on here in about 5 years or so!
I still have my most prized few boomers. My Aiwa TPR975, my Crown SZ5100 my VZ2000 and the dusty old Sharp GF9494. Looking at maybe getting back in the game and get my hands on the ones that got away. Shout out to any of the old heads that might remember me... I was a breakdancing young collector, now i'm just a dude with a sore back!
Ill post up some pics of my remaining few on this post. Glad to be lurking the forums again.
Peace

Rimmer and Drip! I most definitely remember you two. Especially Driptip. Back then if you opened up a box and did a real thorough clean it was called, doing a 'driptip' haha. Glad to see the old warriors still here.
Also, thankyou Northener for the warm welcome! Hope to contribute to this great site once again.

I actually tried to re-use my old account, even going so far as to reactivate a years old email but it still made me change my username. Any chance you could point me in the right direction, maybe via PM?

Thanks for the kind words! Funny that the members may come and go but the boxes stay the same hah.

More or less... I have around twenty now. As usual with boomers, there are one or two very rare (maybe Japan only?) models I don't have. I keep threatening to take pictures of them all...

I just recently came back from a Holiday to Japan, I didn't even think to investigate the boombox markets... ahh! The regrets now haha.

great to see early members back. i joined more or less one year ago and i am impressed by the liveliness of the discussions in old threads. hope you're here to stay --with a possible break due to a second, more purposeful trip to Japan...

where are the posts of 2003 and before this type of forum.
the first one. i know, i preferred that one. so, before 23-10-2003
those times, where everything was new. and i preferred a toshiba more than a dc2 and so a dd9. you know, 10 years ago
and still want a f2 and a blue one..
yep, those days
walkgirl - 2013-07-19 21:31

Sounds interesting, can't wait to hear more.
Start a new thread when you return though as things get confusing otherwise.
