I was looking for some info on a Japanese-market VCR and came across this page... Pretty nice teardown and review of a Panasonic RX-DT909 (Cobra top!).

Beautiful machines. Panasonic, took, all they had learned, from making those classic 80`s eighties boxes, and, brought the technology into the cd age. Lovely sound as well, due to each woofer + tweeter, having it`s own amp. Hence Bi-amp 4 drive.

It`s little brother, the dt707, got a glowing review, in what hi-fi, around 91/92. That was when, they started reviewing portables.

there the same arnt they lit...only diff one has an eq and a back light....my dt707 is in it's box...almost new....only had 6 months use....i have had a few 707 but this one sounds better than the rest for some reason

Yeah, the same, except for the spectrum analizer, voice/hand activated cora top. My dt707, and, dt75, were both in the box, mint, but, you know what i`m like with boxes, they went on the bonfire. Now, they are in those covers, that go over suits.
