these seem to be modified boxes

a player was fitted in ... hmmm

There is no real 80's style boombox with minidisc.

Even CD was a new thing at the time.

To add, CD maybe but anything with MD is not retro enough for us so on your way please. We are strictly retro

Check out minidisc.org, there are quite a few boomboxes with midisc players. Mostly Japanese domestic models.

thanks for the links and hey to all those stick in the mud retro nuts i like tape too but i was after one of these , so stop been mean or i will stick my tongue out anyone seen one for sale but not silly money ! it dosen't need to run of batteries. cheers
